On demand air transportation is where passengers and cargo are transported by aircraft from one point to another in a manner and at a time designated by the person exercising operational control.
The reasons for using on demand travel:
a) Flexibility
Fly when you want and to designated of choice
b) Efficiency
No unnecessary stopovers
c) Privacy and security
Only designated people on board
Yes, non-scheduled flights are also known as on-demand transportation. Typically, non-scheduled flights offered by commercial air transport companies or charter airlines via charter flights outside normal schedules through hiring arrangements with a particular customer.
On demand transportation can also be provided via corporate or private aircraft under general aviation flights.
Thomson Airways
qns4
The airline industry is part of the service industry. In transporting passengers and their belongings from one point to another at an agreed price, airlines perform a service for their customers. Unlike the manufacturing industry, there is no product provided, nor is there inventory created and stored for later sales. Although there is a great deal of equipment and facilities involved in air transportation, it is still a service industry.
(other qns i will update another day :DD )

Aviation Run event by CAAS

there will be an upcoming event organized by CAAS, more info can be obtained from this website. (www.aviationrun.com)

Here are the summarized info regarding this event.

The venue is Changi Exhibition Centre, same venue as Singapore Airshow.

There are 2 routes, 5km & 10km.
Flag off times for the 2 distances are different I believe.

The official time is 8-11, but participants are expected to arrive by 7.30.

The registration fee for the public is $18, whilst we can register for free.

It is a national event, so I guess if the entire cohort wants to participate, it would be possible.

do not register personally first as you would have to pay for it if you register as individual.
